Delta Shoals

Delta Shoal is very close (less than a mile away) to Sombrero Key so you can dive both in one day. It is a shallow shallow area featuring lots of little ledges full of all sorts of fish. It's only 10 to 20 feet deep so snorkelers will have a ball here, as well as their scuba friends. Lots of ships have wrecked here, including one that sank in the 1850s, believed to be a slave ship because it contained African elephant tusks and leg irons.
